Sydney Sailing

Captain’s Log 260123 - Twilight Sailing delivered one of those classic Sydney Harbour evenings - light fading into gold, glassy water and a skyline doing all the heavy lifting. Our crew of nine - Robin, Punam, Alex, Lachlan, Lachlan Two, Rene, Belle, Nick and Rory - got off to a slow start with plenty of jockeying off the line then settled into a solid rhythm through the middle of the race. Unfortunately the breeze softened late and with a sluggish finish we ultimately had to retire. Results aside, the sunset over the Harbour reminded us exactly why Friday twilights are hard to beat.
