Welcome to another week on the water. 

We held an open day on Saturday morning, rather than our normal afternoon sail. The open day was held in conjunction with Comet Bay College defence families and we had about 25-30 people come down. The weather was on the calmer side and was ideal for less experienced people to get out on the water. I think everybody enjoyed the sailing and we finished up with a BBQ.  

We have some good video footage from a professional drone, but it has not been sorted yet. Hopefully we will have it soon, and I will share it then.

I have a lot of people to thank for the day. First up Claire who coordinated and advertised the event through her community. Chris and Jen who jointly skippered Shiraz. Mark, Marc and Kim who ran the BBQ and front desk. Ben who took video footage from his drone. Last but not least Gordon and Diana, and Mark who loaned the services of their own yachts and themselves. We could not have achieved the event without the help from these people, so please join me in thanking them.
